Honor your Studio, your Teachers and your Fellow Students

  • Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class.

  • Front row students are responsible for setting the visual example for everyone in the room. Honor your fellow students and your teacher and follow and keep pace with the instructions given.
Moving together as a class allows you to create mindful, meditative movements, and contributes to the energy in the room. We appreciate your help in keeping the hot room safe for students of all levels.

  • If you need to leave class early, please inform the instructor prior to the start of class and set your mat up in the back of the room close to a door so that you can leave quietly.

  • More advanced students, please keep variations to postures appropriate.

  • When you set up your mat in the yoga room, make sure you can see yourself in the front mirror and the people behind you can see themselves as well. Stagger mats so that every student can see at least a sliver of themselves in the front mirror.

  • Leave all your personal belongings in the ladies or men’s locker rooms. Bring only your yoga mat, towel and water into the practice room. Leave valuables at home or locked in your car to ensure maximum safety.

  • Make sure you have a full bottle of water at the start of class and that it is big enough so you don’t have to leave the room during class to refill.

  • If you arrive late to class, set your mat up in the back of the room close to a door so that your arrival is seamless.

  • If you have to leave the room while class is in session, please leave and re-enter when the class is in-between postures.

  • Your final relaxation in Savasana is an important part of your practice. Make a special effort to leave the room quietly so as not to disturb others taking a longer Savasana.

  • Please visit with friends in the lobby before and after class.

  • Please be aware of others waiting for the shower and adjust your time as needed.
