CLASS OVERVIEW
Step into our state-of-the-art yoga room and unroll your mat in front of our floor to ceiling mirror, and prepare for your practice. Complete with vinyl flooring, a blue Zen wall, and an opposing wall of windows, the room offers the perfect amount of natural light. Music will carry you through each class from a custom playlist unique to each instructor. With centering rhythms at the start of class, upbeat grooves during challenging postures, and relaxing sounds during the final stretching, our music accents your pose. Inspired by the Barkan Method of Hot Yoga, our yoga is based on a wide variety of postures and sequences. We offer several unique class types to challenge mind and body for a complete yoga experience every time. Namaste.

All of our classes are Beginner friendly.

HOT YOGA
Our Hot Yoga class is designed for yogis of all levels, from first day beginners to advanced students. Our yoga room is heated to 101 degrees with 40-45% humidity. The warmth allows for deep release into postures while protecting the joints against injury. Focusing on the pose itself, each posture is given considerable time to explore and hold. Each student can practice at their level of ability, yet all receive the same benefits of the practice. This is the magic of Barkan Hot Yoga. There is an exact pose for everyone at every level. During each pose, our trained instructors demonstrate alternative postures to lessen or advance the stretch.

HOT VINYASA FLOW
This is an upbeat, vigorous class that combines upper body strength, flexibility and cardio. Hatha postures are incorporated into a “Vinyasa” – or continuous flow- style.  Hatha Yoga is the branch of Yoga that focuses on aligning postures with breath. Many of the same postures that are practiced in the Hot Yoga class are also practiced in the Hot Vinyasa Flow class. Each posture will transition into the next pose, with a concentration on breath work. This class is beginner friendly, designed for students of all levels seeking a challenge.

WARM YIN YOGA
This class offers a slower pace to stretch-oriented postures. The room is still heated, but to a lower temperature (85 degrees). Yin Yoga is ideal for students healing from an injury or seeking an increase in flexibility or proper alignment. Yin Yoga postures gently stretch and rehabilitate the deep connective tissue that form our joints. Postures are held longer and are all done on the floor so the muscles can relax. This class is suitable for all levels of students and is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular style of our Hot Yoga classes. Many students enjoy taking a Warm Yin Yoga class after finishing a Hot Yoga class. The soothing effects on the muscles and joints can be felt immediately.

HOT YIN/YANG YOGA
Hot Yin/Yang Yoga provides the benefits of a balanced practice of Yin and Yang styles of yoga. Hot Yoga classes are predominately Yang, with a focus on rhythmic movement and muscle contraction, exercising the muscles by strengthening and stretching. Yin Yoga is the opposite of Yang Yoga, targeting the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and joints of the body and focuses on the hips, thighs, and lower spine. This class will explore both styles of yoga, incorporating a powerful fusion of the two for a balanced experience of the Yin and Yang disciplines.
