Off the Mat, Into My Life

I have trouble with frozen shoulders because of my diabetes. I had 2 surgeries in my right shoulder and had to stop physical therapy.

I have noticed that my range of motion has improved just with the hot yoga. When I sweat I feel like I am purging negative toxins and all the crap that goes with the daily grind and my job as an Air Traffic Controller.

I was so nervous and afraid I couldn’t handle the heat and I might pass out or better yet get physically sick. That has not happened. I find that I am less nervous about going to a class. I love the sweat that rolls off and I feel really good after a class. I also love the fact that I feel like I am better able to handle negative stress throughout the day. People who get on my nerves at work don’t seem to bother me so much. I am able to find a peaceful place a lot faster and better yet I am able to stay there.

I continue to look forward to coming to classes and meeting with all the nice people associated with your facility.
