Regular Practice is Key to Achieving Results
To be most effective, yoga should be practiced regularly with no long breaks in between lessons.
While frequency is good, consistency is what creates the lasting effects in yoga. With a regular practice, even one class per week, the body becomes attuned to the movements and postures within yoga, and settles into those feelings of health and wellness.
Generally, practicing at least 3 times a week on a regular basis is recommended to fully experience the many powerful benefits of Hot Yoga. Practice more often and see your body and mind both transform as you gain strength, flexibility and stamina in body and in mind.
Jump Start Your Fitness… If you have never done yoga, or if you want a thorough detoxification of the body and mind, practice 4 – 5 times per week for 8 weeks or longer. A Hot Yoga practice will draw out impurities and fill the body with more energy and balance.
Maintain Your Fitness … For those who want a maintenance program, practice 3 – 4 times per week regularly. Your practice will be steady and consistent for continued results.
Balance Your Fitness… For those who have a vigorous schedule of other workouts and activities, it is extremely valuable to fit in at least 1 to 2 classes per week. These yoga classes between your other workouts will optimize your results in other activities, your health, and will prevent injury.
Yoga is not a religion, but it should be practiced religiously.
