Announcing the New FarmBox Program

The Sunizona Family FarmBox is a system allowing us to deliver our fruits and veggies directly to you each week instead of passing through other hands along the way.

Sometimes referred to as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), The FarmBox helps create a deeper connection between us the farmers and you the consumer. While the origins, quality and prices of food fluctuate and more farms are absorbed by fewer hands, our members are making a commitment to their community’s food security, environmental sustainability, and to certified organic produce.

At Sunizona Family Farms, we consider ourselves more than just small-scale family farmers. We’re part of a movement. Our operation is certified organic by CCOF/USDA because it’s better for the land and better for your body. Our use of veganic growing practices (i.e., animal-product free), a biomass boiler system, and locally sourced fuel and fertilizers make for a remarkably sustainable operation. And now The FarmBox delivery system allows you to get a taste of this movement firsthand.

Pomegranate Cafe is the very first host site of Sunizona Family Farms’ new FarmBox program. All that fresh, certified organic, Arizona grown produce you find in our restaurant can now be picked up in a box and taken back to your home to enjoy. Pick up days are Tuesdays and Fridays. We are excited to offer this new way to help you eat healthy and delicious food at home.
